I left a bunch of skin on one of the water slides at Action Park...there were 'seams' in the water slide tubes where the pieces attached, and as I was sliding down I got a good skin scraping on my left ass cheek. It ruined my day and I had a scab the size of a softball for weeks.

The day I was there a guy had a heart attack on the really tall water slide and a girl got violently hit in the head by the sled that went down the roller slide and skipped across the water.

Great place as a kid. Basic rules were, "do whatever the fuck you want" We'd pile five or six of us on the innertube rapids ride and fight the whole way down. Why can't I access part 2?

That place was the best. I fucking clobbered another kid on Surf Hill. He took his turn before me and lingered a little too long instead of getting out of the way and I sent him fucking flying when I crashed into his legs.

Not to hijack the topic, but does anyone remember Brigantine Castle in Brigantine NJ? Very similar set-up. Seems to have been run by teenagers. It was a huge "haunted castle" on a pier overlooking the ocean. Pitch black inside with actors portraying various monsters and ghouls. Many terrified, crying kids and injuries from tripping in the dark. We loved the place as kids. My dad would drop us off and we'd go to town. Place was all wood. Total fire trap and it burned down in the 80s.

don't remember that one, but I have nightmarish memories of the haunted mansion in long branch, which burned down on the pier.
