What do you think ? Other than Iron Man they look pretty retarded.
I might stick with Amazing Spider-man to see if it's any good . I hate what they did making Cap old and the X books look lame .

Howard related because he made a change for the worst also .

Its all going to change again after Secret Wars is over. Just ride it out and most stuff will go back to normal (if you can even use that word).

I don't know . It looks like everything is going to change big time from the magazine I got today free . I might only stick with Iron Man because everything else looks fucked up . All the old stuff is out the window .

Elaborate a little? What is changing? The Amazing Xmen comics are still awesome.

I don't see the problem... But then again I really only read Xmen nowadays.
The artwork is amazing. I dont read most of those titles but the Xmen titles look exciting and fresh. As long as original characters are present, I really don't care.

It looks like a lot of characters are out of the picture from the covers .
I'm not big on the teen x-men either . I like having a history and continuity. That's what I always liked better about Marvel over DC. The old Cyclops for example . It seems like they just got rid of him because they wrote themselves into a hole . And having X23 as wolverine is just lame .

Looks like a lot of the same stuff DC pulled with their New 52 a few years ago. That only lasted 40 issues. If the fans revolt enough they will go back eventually. Most of these titles will bite the dust because they are crap.
Xmen and FF are going to be fucked because Marvel cant get the movie rights back yet and they want to make the studio that owns the movie rights to suffer if at all possible.
The Avengers will get more (as if they need them) members so they can drop them in future movies.
Disney is making so much money on the Marvel movies expect the comic to cater to these audiences for a while.
It seems like comics go through cycles. A title can be great for a long time then absolute crap for awhile. Wait long enough and its good again.

I hope you are right . I kind of don't give a shit about this reboot . It might be a good time to pack it in reading comics .

I feel you my friend. Shit just keeps getting rebooted too much. I guess that's why I have been liking stuff from different publishers. Crossed and God is Dead are two I am really liking right now and there is now way one of the big two publishers would ever put them out. Way too adult in nature.

its a cool story and pretty graphic in all departments. its only 37 issues in so far so it would be easy to start from the beginning.

My boy likes Spider-Man, so with him I've been reading the latest "Amazing" volume which started last year. After the obligatory new take on the origin story I thought it was OK, but once they got into the "Spider-Verse" horseshit they almost lost me.

None of these look that appealing to me. I don't read a lot of Marvel anway, just 'All New X-Men' and I'm likely jumping off that ship once Bendis leaves the title. I have actually been trying to whittle down the number of titles I read to just the ones I really dig. Comic books aren't a dollar anymore. A heroin habit would be less expensive.
