About to put it on
I grew up there, know all those actual people IRL...
Don't need to watch this to comment on it - I know every line. The Motion Lounge is where you got all your Italian ices from Sonny Black.
Came out the same Friday as "Private Parts" in 97.
The book is great also. I have NO DOUBT this could have worked as an HBO mini series or 13 episode season(s) in longer form. He's undercover for 6 years doing this crazy assignment.
The movie cuts a lot out. There's a guy named Tony Mirra who is completely cut from the film but in 70% of the book.
Loved the book. Pistone had another book as well that was great
My heart was in my nuts almost that entire movie. It was quite the tenses! Great movie....big fan.
I think it's "The Way of the Wiseguy". He brilliantly psychoanalyzes the gangster mentality in every facet of life - as well as their daily LESS glamourous routines - from 10am to 3am.
Yes. That's it
A Lincoln is better than a Cadillac
A Lincoln is not better than a Cadillac...forget about it
You don't walk out on me
1:49 am. I know it by heart, lets go.
"Ain't no way thatca Lincoln is better than a Cadillac."
They fudged some of the facts too. Lefty being killed for example. I understand why Mike Newell did it, but I think it was unnecessary.
Ain't no way a Lincoln is better than a Cadillac.
Cadillac has more more power, more handling, more leg room for the legs...more power
Anne Heche was so fucking cute back then. She rode a wave that included Wag The Dog and (unfortunately) Volcano, but in DB she really held her own.
Cancer of the prick
I once took the time to count the "fuggedaboudit"s -- 28!
"26 hits under my belt and you, he's scared of. Ha!"
