I took pics.
Too much sodiums.
i really don't but it's not your fault. i'm just crabby.
So now you're an expert on puerto rican food?
it WAS a little salty. Needed more tomato sauce.
the recipe is right off the goya bean bag.
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
8oz of kidney beans soaked
1/2 cup of chopped smoked ham.
Put everything in a pot with salt, pepper, dried oregano and quarter tsp of anchiote/annatto. It really makes the difference. I didn't use the goya "seasoning" the bag recommended.
Meanwhile start the rice.
3 hrs later.
Needs more tomato sauce.
It was very salty. Fuck ton of sodium in that ham.
Next time fry up a pound of spicy Jimmy Dean sausage and dump it in there, grease and all
Looks good Bro. I had beans and rice for dinner, but no ham. Now I'm thinking about a ham sandwich. Hmmmm....
lol teflon cookware
I like how the rice bag says gluten free and vegetarian. I hate when I see that. It's rice. Of course it's gluten free and vegetarian. I mean Come on.
My pans are good. I need to replace my pots.
I didn't capitalize my. But since I cooked it it's technically mine.
