Watched it last night. Found it to be disappointing. There were a few funny gags but for the most part it just fell flat for me. Didn't hear much laughter in the theater either.
Just wondering if anyone else wasted their time and money also.

Nah. The movie didn't appeal to me. It looked like a film that was blowing its wad with all the best violence and dirty jokes
in the trailer. Never a good sign! It also has had a string of reviews calling it more crude than clever, slow-paced and like
3 or 4 marginal Family Guy episodes smooshed together. Don't feel like paying 10 bucks for that!

I figured it seemed like it was the kind of movie where they showed all the funny scenes in the trailers to sucker people into the theaters to get disappointed

Like the gun fight dialog, the Sarah Silverman sex angle, the Doc with the DeLorean gag, etc. It seemed like the top 70 percent of the material was in those 3 minute long trailers.

Also, why did they keep hyping it as "From the guys who brought you Ted!"
I didn't watch that movie either. It looked again like another Family Guy/American Dad/Cleveland Show premise (stoner man with a friend who shouldn't be able to talk but can) stretched to 100 minutes.

Exactly the way I feel. So tired of falling for that shit.
I haven't been to a new movie at the theater since Revenge Of The Sith

i don't think anyone saw it: cams of popular movies with wide distribution usually show up online Sunday morning, but there is no mention of it at all. Malificent is online, but nothing at all about this.

Everyone who saw it (2 people) said it's absolutely fucking horrible. That guy so much fucking money, why doesn't the buy an island somewhere instead of mincing around, singing about Dick Cheney's dick or whatever? I'm embarrassed for him. Almost.

so last out of 3 movies, and behind the one that has been out for more than a week? that's like finishing third in a 2 horse race.

Saw it yesterday. I thought it was funny enough. I hadn't seen trailers, just tv commercials. It wasn't nearly as funny as Ted. I found that there was an excessive amount of swearing for absolutely no reason. I mean, it seemed as if they had a quota and times they were going to say fuck, and they'd just throw it in at the end of a line for no reason.

Gilbert was funny as Lincoln. And jesus, did Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins) get fat!!!

It figures. I respect Seth but I'm not the biggest fan of his work. I watched Ted and was suprised how much I enjoyed despite it being set in Boston and having Mark Walhberg in it.
I saw the previews of this new movie and thought it looked pretty funny but it kinda seemed like a ego project for Seth. On Friday a gal friend of mine had saw it and I asked her opinion. She said it was hilarious and remarked about a joke saying someone's vagina looked like a firecracker exploded in roastbeef or something to that effect. It was at this point I realized exactly what kind of movie it was and who it appealed to. I lost interest very soon after. I only see like 2 or 3 movies a year and it seems it's usually in december aka award season so....I don't dig super hero's or base humor and the Wahlbergs

That gal friend of yours sounds like an Ashey Stern-esque good time. Probably makes a ton of "get fucked in the ass" jokes pre-anal.
