I just started it, cool so far. Just like Lost, so far.
Dude, it airs every Monday then it takes a lot of time off. Be prepared!
I'm used to it, I listen to Howard Stern.
I thought it was a cool idea but the acting sucks so far. The music is the same as LOST and they got to Chicago in record time. I thought it would take at least a season. Oh, and her Mom is not dead. No way is that actress taking a 3 minute part.
I think they should of put more time into finding the uncle as well. It seems to convienent that they found him already.
Well, it was the pilot. I'm sure things will get confusing as hell from here on in. Of course, no one's really dead yet.
I'd give it a 3 out of 10.
IMO...that type of a show needed a two hour pilot...but I can see how and why they didn't want to push their luck with
risking that sort of thing based on their material and what type of directions that they seem headed with the material.
(...they just wanted that quick hour and please come back next week for more.)
I really don't want to see much more of it...but I might be open to viewing another episode or two.
I'm only really there for watching Giancarlo do his thing..and maybe to see some of the "life after losing power" type of stuff.
All of the sword play and blood is kind of silly...but it is whatever it is....in that type of world..doesn't anyone bother to get really good
at throwing knives or axes at a standoff distances?...also..long spears tend to work very good along with short swords.
Inferior in quality to other shows on cable...kept thinking if it was on HBO, Showtime, FX or AMC it would be a lot better.
Might check it out, but that it comes from JJ Abrams is not a plus. His brand hasn't sunk to M. Night Shyamalan levels, though to me the Abrams name signals "Big Hype/No Substance".
Unusual show but very good so far.
^ This x 10. JJ Abrams, while being technically proficient, absolutely sucks at plot and conflict resolution. There is a time or a place for a movie or tv show to end on an ambiguous note but Abrams does it every.fucking.time.
Packs of evil violent white people terrorizing the planet??
Women and minorities are amazing??
IS this the show where the people are on the sub and are going to attack america or something? I thought that was a cool premise, but i rarely get into these series until i can watch them a season at the time.
This isn't the submarine show, this is kind of a twist on post-apocalyptic America where for some reason electricity no longer works.
That's "last resort", that starts on abc next week.
I do remember seeing the ads for this no electricity show. Again, i just can't get into these shows until i can watch one episode after the other. I have no patience to wait a week! I am intrigued by the premis of both these shows, I'll try and keep up with how well they are received.
One of the other people working on it is "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke, I would of expected better than what happened that first hour since his other show was really good while under his control.
how many episodes of revolution have there been so far?
is it too late for me to catch up?
The pilot was on NBC last Monday (17th), they are repeating it at 10 PM tonight.
Thank you - I will DVR it.
