I kinda like it. Some new characters, and I like the back story. I'm pissed that they didn't show Rothsteins death! Still not as good as the first 2 seasons, but curious how it will all rap up together

A different feel this year.. the, what, 7 year gap is kind of jarring... clearly they'll pull a lot of threads together... the Chalky thread seems kinda superfluous... I dunno...

Well if they want the big things to happen, they need to speed it up a bit. Capone needs to be in the prime of his character. Showing how things are becoming corporate.

That actor is too short and not intimidating enough to play Capone... not believable... one positive for him is that he's a Brit, and his Capone accent is pretty damned good...

It's exceptionally well-made this season. The cinematography is so insane, plot almost doesn't matter.

The flashbacks are so good, I almost want a prequel.

It's not doing it for me. :dontknow:. I'm of the opinion that they blew their load a couple of seasons back. When Richard killed half of Brooklyn. Which was awesome. How can they top that? They can't.

This season feels to me as if they're going through the motions, to tie up the universe. Which is fine, but I had bigger hopes for it all. Oh well.

The only aspect I am digging is the pairing of Van Alden & Eli. That's been cool.

I never read anything about Capone's personality so I don't know how accurate the portrayal is. Seems like they're taking the Joe Pesci from Goodfellas template and running with it.

The previews for next week looks like we're gonna get a decent amount of Capone screen time. :woot:

I half expect to see a 13-year-old Gillian spirited off by the Commodore in those flashbacks, but that would be TOO creepy, wouldn't it?

Chalky probably in jail because he killed those cops at the end of last season, no? I think Chalky winds up killing Narcisse. Why else have him on the loose if he isn't after revenge?
