Big Stephen King fan, and for most of the last decade everything he has written has been absolute shit. When I read Under the Dome I was amazed because he really hasn't written anything this good since It or Talisman. The story also hit me as something that would adapt well like Stand By Me or Shawshank because of the basic realism to the story that most of his books lack. The show has sort of diverted away from the book but it really has made its own niche. I am not sure that a second season is a great idea, you can only stretch the story so far before it gets old and I am thinking adding 13 more hours is too much.
