    Afternoon,

I didn't post my thread last night, because I was a bit too busy to post on the forums last night. I went out and ran some errands, went out to a restaurant, prepped tonight's dinner and watch a movie and a few other things with Sweetie. My evening was full, but now I'm back and well-rested and going out for beer a little later on. Here's what we had at the restaurant...

    On Tonight's Menu:

Miscellaneous Items From One of My Favorite Restaurants in Town - I had...

combination of salads, potato salad, vegetable slaw, and quinoa salad, all on top of a green salad with croutons...

Sweetie had Country Ham(its a Kentucky thing), Swiss, and a special sauce on an in-house baked roll. This is what it looked like folded open...

...and continuing with my Oldies week, I'll play a song by an underrated badass female who's been around since the inception of rock-n-roll, it Wanda Jackson with "Fujiyama Mama" from 1957:

Talk about your food and music. It doesn't matter, I'll be posting another one of these tonight.

Hopefully everyone is doing well. I'll be looking back on what I missed. Take care. :toptip:

Smoked a prime rib last weekend. Did not get the money shot after I carved that bad boy, but smoked it with cherry wood between 275-300 and pulled it off at 130 internal, rested for 15 minutes and it finished at 135 or medium rare

Is that from "The Wall"? I used to listen to that album all the time when I was 13.

    Mister Clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ucheer: :cheer: :ucheer:

I tried the sandwich, it was awesome and I'll probably order it for myself next time we go here.

The restaurant is the creation of a local "celebrity" chef who has a fancy pants restaurant and two casual restaurants. One of them was on DDD, not the one we went to last night. This one is the superior restaurant anyways IMO.

Glad you enjoyed the song, sir! :toptip:

I cooked a Subway buffalo chicken sandwich on wheat w/ spinach, tomatoes, banana peppers, and spicy mustard for lunch today. And it was fucking great. :D

Even better. I think both would be great on pastrami nonetheless.

I played drums for Wanda Jackson a couple of times, once at the House of Blues and once at Cafe Noir. True story.
