App to determine what on home network is causing slowness?

    I don't think this exists. Disconnect everything except one computer hard wired into the router/modem. Go to www.speedtest.net and run the speed test. Probably a good idea to know what the theoretical speed is from your ISP. This will at least show you that your ISP is giving you close to what you payed for. Now try one device on wifi and see how you do. Probably slower but should still be good. Now add another device and so on until you find the problem....my guess is that there is no problem and its either a problem with the position of your wifi box or the sites you are trying to stream from are slow. good luck.

    Also, as per the now legendary Chriza, be sure all your doors are opened so the internet can flow through easier. If you're still having problems, place a fan in front of your router to force the internet to where you want it to go.
