I'm going to cancel. I was so looking forward to it but I don't think it'll be worth it.
I thought they moved it Camp David.
you'll be in the poor areas so don't sweat it bro. make sure you get your italian beef with extra giardinera an get it dipped. you'll thank me later.
Oh. In that case... Play ball!!!
I wouldn't go there -- lots of smelly, naer-do-well hippies getting pepper sprayed in the streets
if any protestors wander into the woods near camp david, they may never been seen again
Sounds like some prime foot locker looting.
Are you a pussy?
I'm glad because all the airline was offering was myrtle beach or florida. They wouldn't give me a full refund. Thanks ridic. +reps.
Well after further review the G8 Summitt has been moved to Camp David, but the NATO Summitt will still be taking place in Chicago at the same time as previously scheduled.
But it starts the day I leave. Minor inconvenience at the airport probably but I'll be going against the flow. Plus I like to see some shit go down. As long as it doesn't interfere with my baseball game.
Chicago is a big enough city that you can enjoy it with a few protestors confined to allowed areas. Also we have two airports, one already neck and neck as the busiest airport so the few flying in should bother you, especially if they bring th
em in under a secured private airport.
As dinkus said get the Italian beef, he isn't kidding. I hope you're going to Wrigley.
Yes. I plan on going to the Thursday game against the Phillies. I don't have tickets yet but last time I looked they were available.
Any plans other than that? Need suggestion? Go to Harry Caray's. Great baseball sports bar even better food. Cubbie bear is good too, just don't fly phillie colors. Get pizza at Lou malnati's and a hot dog at superdawgs, trust me.
I'm a Red Sox fan but I will be dressed neutrally and will probably root for the Cubs if anyone. I really don't care about either team but I love baseball and Wrigley has been a must on my list for my whole life. I plan on going to Harry Caray's and maybe Buddy Guy's place. Other than that I'm pretty much wide open. I don't like to fill my agenda too much when I travel. One or two rigid plans and the rest I like to play by ear.
