Not a fanboy by any stretch of the imagination but I haven't updated my gear in almost 4 years so I'm interested to see what's what. http://www.apple.com/apple-events/march-2016/ http://www.macrumors.com/2016/03/18/what-to-expect-at-march-21-apple-event/
yea sounds cool. I'm mainly interested in speed and weight. Hopefully the new stuff weighs less. In September sure the new phones were thinner but actually weighed more.
I was hoping that it would be the iPhone 7. I need to upgrade my phone, but I hate doing with the s models. They are just tweaks of the previous versions. I want the next major upgrade. Unfortunately, I think I will have to wait until September for that.
I wont change to an iphone 6 because I don't want a bigger phone. They need to make a skinny version of the iphone 4 sized phone for me to change from my 5S. Fuck those big phones. Im not going to carry a pocket book like a fruit for a god damn phone. The phones should be as big as an itouch at this point. Apple better get it together.
I'm not really attached to brands or products. When I got my first "smart" phone, I had a few criteria in mind, that it be unlocked, GSM compatible, had GPS, had a nice sized screen but compact enough to fit in my pocket etc. When I sent it in for warranty repair, I bought an unlocked Coolpad Rogue from Walmart for $20. Other than the build quality, weight and slightly smaller screen size, theres hardly a difference. I'm shocked at how good of a phone this is for twenty goddam dollars. So I guess what I'm wondering is, why do people pay so much more (me included) for certain phones. Are the higher priced phones really that much more capable? Hasnt been the case in my experience.
Isn't that what the said they were doing allegedly? They will be providing an update to the normal sized Ipad AND a new smaller phone. Smaller than the main size and especially the big one which should only be for old ladies who can't see.
No....just got a new iPhone 6 from work about 3 months ago, nothing else of interest although I do love to see how they rip people off with underpowered computers vs. Windows.
I think the 5s is the perfect sized phone. I did go from a 5s to a 6, took a while to get used to it. My wife got a 6+ a couple weeks ago, thing's a monster, would never get myself one. My last kid at home is on a 4s. Be interesting to see what the new one is that's coming out today. i might go smaller and give her my 6 if all features are about equal.
Verizon and others are offering buy one get one free for Samsung S7/Edge. Does this phone just suck or are people slowing down cell phone purchases?
I used to love those events... now they got all uppity and want to try to force their bullshit on use and milk every penny in the name of micro transactions.. I have an iPhone only because I'm too "invested"..
