Apple is launching internet radio Q1 2013. Going to kill Spotify, Pandora and probably SiriusXM.

Last contract negotiation between SiriusXM and Howard: Bushwald floated that Apple had offered Howard 700 million to be iTunes exclusive. That would never happen with Steve Jobs.
But now gay icon Tim Cook (cock) is running Apple, and he and Howard share fascination for beer can thick dick.

That will create quite the dilemma for Howard, Ralph, Hein and the other Apple lovers on the staff.

Looks like it was a good idea for Mel to sell his 90 million Sirius shares this year.

Apple never offered Howard anything. Typical Buchwald horseshit lies.

Steve J called from the grave and he killed that contract before Don could even call Apple HQ . . .

I'm curious to see exactly what Apple Radio will be. Forget Howard...If Apple radio will do what Pandora does but also incorporate those "obscure" songs from your iTunes library into the mix, Pandora will be history.

Common sense. Buchwald has a history of planting fake stories in the press. And why would Apple pay 700 million to a guy who has an audience of a few hundred thousand people?

I'd never listen to it. I have a lifetime Sirius sub and barely listen to Howard. Are they thinking of actually charging to listen to Howard? :giggle:

Internet radio and Satellite radio are 2 very different things. I drive a lot and sat radio works 99.9% of the places i go. Internet radio would not work for me at all.
I find it hard to believe any one would offer Howard any amount of money after his track record over the last 5 years. And then there is AGT= Americas Judge.

You never know. This may explain Howard's rather sudden affection for Apple products and constant mentions he gives them (worth $$$). At the time he signed his current contract, Apple radio wasn't around and wouldn't be for two years. So maybe he resigned with Sirius for 5 years so Apple radio would have time to mature and gain market share before he committed to it.

Chess teaches you to think several moves ahead.

the AT&T ones do; the Verizon and Sprint ones are CDMA which does not, but they do include sim slots for areas with only GSM service now. The non Apple phones sold by those CDMA carriers have similar setups: Blackberry has CDMA phones with sim slots because CDMA is not necessarily in every region.

I guess this means the Shoutcast app is a goner on the iPhone, since it does all this shit already. Allegedly.

shoutcast makes no profit. apple isn;t interested in competing with something that makes no profit. Pandora and Spotify make money, and Sirius is going to be gutted in 2013 when Liberty rapes it and sells off the remains.
