...so the kid uses a my little pony back pack for a lunch carrier and he got bullied at school. the school told him not to bring the backpack back to school so the mom threw a fit because the bullies were not reprimanded so mom decided to home school the kid. hes probably the only kid in his school including the girls who are rockin a my little pony anything.

It doesn't matter if the kid shows up in a tutu. He's entitled to an education free of intimidation and violence.

Mom might as well start putting some money away for his gender-reassignment surgery.

Yeah, but then there's reality. Teachers and parents and bosses won't always be there to stop bullies, the kid needs to be taught how to deal with it, not taken out of school. I suspect he will still be bullied, just not at school.

My 6yr old (girl) doesn't even like MLP anymore. That 9 year old should grow up... unless he wants to grow up to one of those perv bronies.

The Utopian school experience doesn't exist and the 9yr old and hopefully the mom should recognize that they walked into this one. (school was kinda crazy telling them to stop bringing it tho)

I was hoping this kid was trying to be hip and got this MLP backpack ironically... sadly it looks like hes a huge fan

Christ sakes, the kid is so coached. It borders on parental abuse.

Sometimes the wrong thing is the right thing. Mom shouldn't have let him bring it in in the first place.

I still remember like it was yesterday when a young wide eyed 7 year old Ed proudly climbed on the bus with his new "Woodstock" (from Peanuts) bag and the immediate and absolute mockery and abuse I took on the ride in from a bunch of older kids. Those guys are probably ditch diggers today so Karma evens it out, but I never brought my favorite Woodstock bag to school again, and it was the right thing to do to just leave it at home.

Heres my bag!!! I'm buying it.

...i agree flafla but hes sticking out like a sore thumb with his chosen accessory. even tho youre entitled to be who you are and wear a tutu youre not allowed to distract others from their right to an education even if theyre assholes who learned to be bullies at home. in a perfect world nobody would care what was on his backpack and neither would he care what anybody said about it. the issue is not the backpack but the bullying imo, but im just an observer not a participant.

And then tomorrow, they'll pick on him because of his coat or his shoes or his hair. Should he shave his head and come to school without shoes or a coat?

Way to blame the victim, champ. Good goin'. :rolleye2:

I agree with this, but sometimes you just have to live and deal in reality.

Society still has certain norms, and individual members are expected to comport themselves to fit into society. That's just the way it is. If the little faggot insists on carrying his dumb girl's backpack, then there are consequences for those actions.

Why, that sounds like a personal attack. Yesterday, you were anti-personal attacks on this message board. Pick a side.

Gee, after reading your posts, I thought parents were only there to take blame. You know, like when you kick a ball in your own net and somehow it's your parents fault.
