I've been looking for an autobiography to read for a break in my normal reading routine. Just how good are the two Artie wrote?

When I first read it/them, I assumed it was comedic nonfiction.

Now I think they should be listed under fiction.

Also his second book is pretty much him begging to get Adrienne back.

The first book will make you love him, the second one will make you hate him.

They really are a great read but like the rest has said, most of it is fiction i am afraid. But still a great read.

Has he written one about how to fuck up a really lucrative career? I got to figure that one is pretty good.

They're both ok but a lot of stuff comes across as heavily embellished. Also, the first book there's barely a page goes by where he doesn't credit someone for 'saving his life'.

Too Fat to Fish is very funny (though of you're an ardent Stern listener you've heard a lot of the stories before) and a breeze to read.

Crash & Burn is not very funny at all. It is, however, Dark and depressing. Not a fun read.

They are good books for a 2-3 hour airplane ride. Even if you don't finish, you are not really compelled to get to the end

They are fairly entertaining. I borrowed from the library - Didnt want to spend money on a book I wouldn't read again. I only believed a small portion of it though cause Artie makes shit up as he goes along.
