I steamed some live lobsters last night. It was pretty easy, apart from listening to the frantic screams when they hit the pot...ten minutes from living things to food. They tasted very good, but there's not much meat on a two-pound lobster, and you need to smash that shit with a hammer unless you have shell crackers. You have the claws and tail, and some people say to suck the little leg meat out and to get meat under the body shell but fuck that. Also, some say the liver is the sweetest, but I'll take your word for it. Even at a good price of $5.99/lb, it was $12 for maybe 6-7 ounces of meat. Are they worth it? Meh.
