Howard doesn't give a shit about the bees anymore because his "cousin" who owns the bee product company no longer advertises with the show.

The loss in bee population is yet in a long line of impending world disasters that the media overplayed to sell newspaper, magazines, clicks, and get ratings. Nothing sells better in the news than fear. If the media was right, we would all be dead from mad cow, Ebola, SARS, swine flu, AIDS, etc. and wouldn't be around for the devastation of the extinction of the bees.

Cousin Richie doesn't give a shit about the bees any more either, he sold the company in 2009:

    http://cousinrichie.com/about/

Julie and Richie Gerber, former co-owners of the Bread of Life Natural Foods Market and Restaurant in South Florida have been involved with Health and Wellness since they first met over 40 years ago. Together they have seen the Natural Foods movement change from being on the fringes back in the early 70’s to the universally accepted industry it is today.

Julie was a Yoga teacher, Richie a committed vegetarian and Jazz sax player. As their relationship grew, so did their commitment to a healthy lifestyle. In the 1970’s they moved to Maine, started an organic farm, built their own energy efficient home, taught T’ai Chi Ch’uan and vegetarian cooking classes while at the same time teaching in the local schools. After several pioneering years, they moved to Florida and opened the Bread of Life Natural Food Markets.

Licensed nutritionists, Julie and Richie started out with a very small, neighborhood health food store. They shared their knowledge with their customers, holding educational events, giving cooking classes, writing wellness newsletters, running a restaurant, and more. Richie was the host of the Natural Grocer Radio Show, a pioneer in South Florida talk- radio for ten years.

And they did all this, while raising their son, Isaac, who has been a vegetarian all his life.

In 1997 they merged their Bread of Life Stores with Whole Foods Markets. Richie stayed on as the Florida Regional President and Julie as the Regional Marketing Coordinator. After several years they both retired.

Julie and Richie, who years ago made their own tofu from scratch, have seen the increase in the availability of healthy food products in the market. But it has not been so with skin care items. Knowing that there is a need for true natural personal care products made in such a way that they are not toxic to our bodies or the planet, they have created BeeCeuticals Organics, a very special body care line. In 2009 they sold BeeCeuticals and have started to write a book on health and wellness.

Howard was not happy with Richie when he sued the Seinfeld movie. Of course, Howard made it all about himself and didn't care whether it was a legit claim or not, he just didn't want the bad association in the press. Especially against a giant like Jerry who Howard now licks of his ass.

Will this news hurt his cousin's bee product business?
