yeah i want a president that believes in magic underwear
Has nothing to do with his religion. Has to do with his being a sociopath. We need a write-in corpse candidate as a viable alternative to both Obama and Romney.
I always used to feel that voting you pick the lesser of two evils. Unfortunately both sides are bought and paid for by Wall Street. Im still going to vote for Obama but I feel like the working man in this country is never going to get a fair deal. Who knows, Obama might surprise people in a second term. He damm sure didn't in his first.
Mormon vs Black liberation theology
The moment Team Obama attacks the Mormon we finally get to talk about Obamas 20 years with Rev. Wright.
what does black have to do with it ? Republicans act like Obama is the biggest lib on the planet. Richard Nixons healthcare plan was more radical than Obamas.
Nixon’s proposal for health care reform looks a lot like Democratic proposals today. In fact, in some ways it was stronger. Right now, Republicans are balking at the idea of requiring that large employers offer health insurance to their workers; Nixon proposed requiring that all employers, not just large companies, offer insurance. Nixon also embraced tighter regulation of insurers, calling on states to “approve specific plans, oversee rates, ensure adequate disclosure, require an annual audit and take other appropriate measures.” No illusions there about how the magic of the marketplace solves all problems.
yep, looks like Nixon was a card carrying member of the Black Panther Party.
Probably not agood idea to start a political discussion after I've been up 20 hours. After re reading I get your point about Jerimah Wright. I just find it laughable that Conservatives think there is a direct link between Obamas preacher and his policies. The same with Romneys Mormon faith. The only scary thing about Romney is I think he is a true believer in the Mormon faith. The last true believer faith wise we had in the Whie House was George W.
i don't see how anyone who admits in public that he likes firing people, and that he believes every recent college and high school graduate should hit their parents up for seed money to start their own businesses because everyone's parents has millions in the bank. Someone so out of touch with the world should not be allowed to affect others. And an administrator who clearly does not understand his job function should not be reelected. He's been in office 4 years and he still thinks his role is that of a camp counselor. Maybe if he watches a few Reagan as president videos he might get the idea.
Obama can't win on his record.
You leftys should have vetted him the first time around.
Race and class warfare ain't gonna work....
^ This and Reagan got his across the board tax cutting ideas from Kennedy, if Kennedy were around today and wanted to run for President as a democrat and presented his economic philosophy to the Democratic Chairman, he would tell him "Go talk to the Republicans, they're down the hall a bit"..Nixon practiced what he liked to call "practical liberalism" but dems today consider him an arch conservative and Kennedy a liberal saint, neither are true...
no...i am not going to vote for a guy that wears magical underwear ..
Mormonism is strange and kind of fascinating. I know some Mormons and they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I will not think twice about voting Romney.
All religion is weird and Obama is a complete failure. Not much choice.
Romney is showing himself to be a shitty campaigner. Obama is going to rip him to shreds. Watch and learn.
Kool Aid drinker.
If you proposed Kennedy or Reagan's first round of tax cuts today--it would be called socialism. The top bracket paid 50% federal tax in Reagan's plan(his first tax cut), and the top bracket paid 70% federal income tax in Kennedy's tax plan. Somehow now raising the top bracket from 35% to 39.6% would be an unfathomable hit to the wealthiest americans.
When a student asked Romney how he could afford college with tuitions rising and financial aid being cut back, Romneys brilliant answer was to join the armed forces.
Believe me, no one in the top bracket is paying 35% income tax. They know how to hide their money. Plus isn't capital gains tax 15%? The very rich and corporations are largely responsible for reporting their complex earnings and capital gains, and they have the will and the way to use intricate partnerships, offshore tax havens, and other devices that skirt or cross legal lines.
