It's too bad Artie wasn't around for the Marci Turk era. I'd love to hear them do some improv exercises together.

Wow, that's really cool to know he's 24 in that, because I'm 24 right now! It's just kinda weird to me lol.

One of the things I notice with people who suffer from drug abuse is their voice and pace of their speech. A clear example is the lead singer of Pantera Phil Anselmo. In the early 90s he spoke quick, clear, and his speech flowed easily. Now the guy is scratchy, slow, mumbled, and sounds like he is 30 years older than he is. It reminds me so much of Artie. Listen to Artie now and it sounds like a different person. He has lost all of the fun and excitement when he talks. I'm sure he doesn't want to act this way but the drugs have dealt their course.

Phil in 1991 before Heroin addiction. Listen to his voice and speech. Like Artie in 1993.

Phil today. Listen to how he talks. Like Artie in 2016. Thanks Heroin.

So you are you telling me Mad TV saw a tape of this and said, "We gotta get this guy in here for an audition!"
I like how Artie says he was picked out from "8,000 people who auditioned". 8,000??? 800 even seems high. Stern math at its best.
