Richard Lewis is tryin' ta fuck...
Artie is front page news this morning on several outlets.
...and Jackie Marling, who starred in the Howard Stern written “Private Parts,”...
So does this mean he has relapsed once again or are they just rehashing old news?
Sorry buddy. Gotta get the reps before @Austinchota .
I know. It's because I bitched about the whole policy in that thread yesterday.
I'm trying to prove a point. Probably not efficiently.
This is what the original headline looked like. They caught it at gunk before it was fixed. Artie Lewis
So no one is speaking about WHERE he is ?
Where is he?
Did he have court today? If so do you know the outcome???
I remember you posting something about the 11th being a court date. You got info?
He in rehab now or in jail?
Definitely not on twitter the last 24 hours.
I'm gonna guess if he had court they gave him a chance with the "drug court" thing even though his urine was probably 50% cocaine.
Six feet under?
Sounds like Artie's publicist/Lawyer paid for these headlines so the judge doesn't throw him in the slammer.
I may very well be wrong but I believe and have been told by two people I trust that he is IN Essex County Jail.
One says indefinately which is either 4 or 5 years and would mean that in time he would be shipped to a State Prison / State Correction Facility as Essex County Jail only holds convicts doing 365 days or less.
The other says that he was sentenced to a weekend in jail for a past minor DMV charge.
I have been waiting rather than post wrong info but it seems to check out but this is public record so why would no one know ? His twitter flunkie has retweeted a couple things but its not Lange tweeting.
He's not showing up on the inmate search..
I’m not sure about NJ, but in a lot of states, once you’re admitted into Drug Court, there are graduated levels of punishment for showing up to court dirty, or missing/refusing a random drug screen. These range anywhere from 24 hours in jail, to 76 hours, a week, 30 days, having to restart the program from the beginning, to expulsion. In the beginning, they’ll often send participants to a 30-day detox/rehab that is selected by the Judge, based upon recommendations by the Drug Court counselors, rather than to one the participant selects.
I could see Artie having gotten a trip to a legit detox/rehab that doesn’t allow for midnight field trips to the comedy club. These are usually either lock-down, or carry the provision that if you leave, you’re considered “absconded,” or get hit with an Escape charge.
