http://www.nydailynews.com/entertai...s-rosie-view-valentine-show-article-1.2113639 Artie Lange is ready to fill Rosie O’Donnell’s seat on “The View.” “If I got that phone call, I’d definitely have to consider it,” joked Lange, who’s doing a Valentine’s Day standup show at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. “I’m sure they’d be dying to get my point of view,” the former “Howard Stern” sidekick said. Lange admits his Feb. 14 show in A.C. isn’t exactly targeting “The View” audience, though he does think it’ll serve as a litmus test for men on the verge of popping the question. “If (a woman) likes my standup, which is really a stretch … that woman is definitely a keeper,” he said. This Valentine’s Day is going to be a tough one for Lange. In November, he ended his relationship with a woman he’d been dating for five years. Still, this Saturday will be better than Valentine’s Day 2005, when he was abandoned by his would-be fiancée in a foreign land after he’d “rented a diamond” for $25,000. “That was the worst by far,” he recalled. “I got this $250,000 diamond — hot — from this criminal that I knew, for $50,000,” Lange confessed. “We got into an argument and she flew home three days early,” according to Lange. When Lange tried returning the engagement ring to the hoodlum who’d sold it to him, the crook would only pay half-price.
