Levy tweeted that Artie was offering a free month of his podcasts. Just enter promo code Artie673 when ordering. I went to the ArtieQuitter website to try it. They want your credit card info. Free month, then they start billing you unless you cancel. Sorry, Artie's not getting my credit card info. Not that I don't trust him...actually, it is that I don't trust him! If he wants to offer free samples, why not do like Cumia does, and offer a free "Best of" show once a week?
Do we have any idea how many people actually pay for Artie's podcast in a given week?

Sorry, I refuse to pay for podcasts, even ones I really enjoy, like Gilbert's! If they're any good, let them get a sponsor.

Do you have any guarantee that Artie will actually show up to make each daily podcast?

I cannot imagine any circumstance in which I transmit any information, not even my favorite color, for any reason to Mr. Lange.

"Captain, hey, yeah, it's Art. Uh, yeah, real sorry. Bruno is a ball buster and he said I need to get straight with him about the 30 I dropped on the Cavalier's game. Couldn't scratch up the full bill. So I might have passed on a number or two to him. But I'm sorry and I'll make it up to you. Gotta' go."

    he already doesn't show up.

he promised 4-5 podcasts/week that would be between 2-3 hours.

he's averaging 3.86 podcasts/week during the life of his podcast, and this past week each podcast was no longer than 80 minutes...

and some of those podcasts are just recordings of him and his friends watching the super bowl or something (not even live, split into two shows and put out the two days following the super bowl.. and unedited so you got to relive every boring minute)

he has a little over 3,000 subscribers.

he frequently refers to it as the least successful podcast ever.

He constantly cancels podcasts, then goes "ahhh I'll make it up to you guys next week with two shows" and then splits a single show into two files.

I don't like Cumia's "best of the week" model either, though. I don't want to hear "the best" and get sold under false pretenses. They should either make 1-2 days of the week free or maybe give the first hour of each show free and the rest you gotta pay to hear if they want to jew me down like that.

But I'm not paying just to hear a dude talk either way. At least Cumia offers video. And to gaze at that modern art masterpiece in HD is truly worth the price of admission, right?

Gilbert has the best podcast EVER and it's free! So why would I pay for Artie or Anthony or any other podcast?

Because they both need to finance their respective substance abuse issues.

Gil & Frank accept donations with special enticements included via Patreon https://www.patreon.com/gilbertgottfried?ty=c

Very reasonable rates & I'm proud to provide what little support I can afford.

Of course my heart belongs to www.dawgshed.com - I pay @dawg before I pay for any other sites or podcasts.

Forcing people to subscribe and pay for a podcast seems like bad business.
I think he'd be better off, by giving the show away for free, developing, communicating with, and nurturing a growing community, and get them to voluntarily support you, along with advertisers.

i subscribe and listen, but he has an old unfunny annoying chic on with a brutal accent and awful laugh, sue costello, that makes it impossible to listen to the episodes she is on, which is like twice a week recently, so that is bummin me out

The only thing I'd pay to listen to is something with the quality of the Stern show circa 1995-2008. And I didn't even pay for that when they started charging. I'm old school. Radio is free. I didn't fall for that bait and switch shit Stern pulled.
