    Those were the glory days.

Howard definately did some of the best radio of his career back then from 2006 though basically 2008

I was just thinking that earlier while listening to Artie argue with Crazy Alice about the football picks in 2006 , On Mastertape.

Remember the good old days when howard wore his wavy wig? And not his jeri-curl one?

Didn't they actually do this show in the evening? It's sad to see that now he can hardly be bothered to show up twice in one week.

There were some great 2008 moments as well, though not as many as the first 2 years.

2008 featured the Artie vs Hi Pitch Mike battles as well as Mike's trip to Disneyland for one

    2008 also feature Sal's 143 incedent.

I really think the turning point of the show and when the evolution began accelerating was after the marriage when Beth going to all these events.

When Howard talks about wanting Beth to have the respect of the doorman, he really means getting Beth access and acceptance to the Hamptons girl club. My wife watches some of the "Housewives of famous people" type shows and the 1 thing all those bitches have in common is that they look down on and dismiss their fellow golddiggers who haven't gotten the ring yet, referring to them as groupies and bimbos . The engagement ring really is a badge of honor and a symble of accepance among those whores)

Now married and out and about Beth started running into the likes of Rosie, and the rest of the limosiene liberal crowd at various charity cocktail parties. She would then go home and badger Howard into making peace with thes idividuals and she even started draggin Howard to every Hamptons and red carpet event that she could.

Howard probably was called out a few times on the show's content (gay jokes, "the f word", racial humor), and felt awkward around those he once mocked so in order to deal with this he decided to become friends with those he once held in contempt, and take the edge out of his show.

It wasn't marriage per say that hurt the show, it's the social scene that he started hanging in after the marriage

I like Richard yelling at Gange from the washroom he just pissed all over. "How 'bout I clean it with your face! want me to clean it with your face!"

Same day Howard cashed all his bonuses, then he stop give a shit.
this was late 2007 when he got his 28 million merger bonus + over 100 million in subscriber bonuses.

But wait! Howard wants over 100 million more in bonuses. SiriusXM are evil.

Right here was another good one. This was Howard and Artie the first time they heard Bigfoot talk. :jj:
Then when Bigfoot tried to shake the hand of a quadriplegic. :c

That's Bigfoot II. Bigfoot I was much cooler, and more intelligent (he could read and act), than his replacement.
Kinda like HowchieWife I and HowchieWife II (Alison & Bethman).
