Haha, Mark Richt. You may finally be able to get some Florida State caliber criminal-athletes recruited.

Was Georgia full of criminals? I didn't follow them too closely, but I just know Richt is a hell of a football coach.

Being a Dolphins/Canes fan, its nice to actually have a coach that knows what the fuck he is doing down here. South Florida has had some REALLY bad coaches (Shannon/Golden/Waddnstedt/Cameron/Philbin). If the Dolphins could actually get a real coach maybe their QB/team wouldn't suck so bad and ruin every Sunday.

They had a lot of "discipline problems" including a few great players that got shitcanned out of the program, and the way they played on the field reflected it. Lots of great talent but not exactly disciplined human beings. Richt is one of those "I'm your buddy" coaches. He literally led a pep rally on the field in the middle of one game. It didn't go over well with the officials (15 yd penalty) or dawg fans.

He sure recruits great RB's, though. And usually good QB's.

"The U" in the 80s were known for bad boy mentality and borderline criminal behavior (on top of them kicking ass on the field), so I am sure no one in Miami would give a fuck as long as they started winning big games.
They used to let "Uncle" Luke Campbell strut around on the sidelines lol.

UM has a QB with a ton of potential in Brad Kaaya. Looking forward to seeing what he can do with the kid.

I have nothing to be excited about with my Dolphins, so it was nice to see Richt return to Miami. Hopefully the Fins can reel in Sean Payton or Hue Jackson, probably the best fits to turn this team around.

Some people down here want Mike Shula (Panthers OC) to become the coach. Not me. I kinda think he is a little raw, and benefits from having Cam Newton (a little like when Bill OBrien left Brady to go coach the Texans). Also, the Dolphins interviewed him twice a few years back and ultimately ended up hiring Cam Cameron. So you pass on Shula for shitty Cam Cameron, and now you're going to pass on Payton and Jackson for Shula? It would be a weird move.
