    That's right!

If you want to upgrade a phone you will be paying an upgrade fee and activation fee.

    36.00 a pop.

I just upgraded 3 phones this month and about fell out of my chair when i saw the bill.

Fucking thieves, This will be my last contract with these robbers.

AT&T sucks! Same with the coverage of the service. I went Verizon and am very happy.

Most business models nowadays are focused on separating you from your money, not providing an actual service. Carmakers are going to start phasing out CD players from cars because "everybody" has a smartphone. So, you can pay somebody (most like Apple) to buy a song. Then, you'll pay some cloud service :)rofl:) to store that song for you. THEN, you'll pay your cellphone company to send that song to your phone while you're driving, and you damned well better hope that you don't hit a dead zone.

    I'll stick to CD's, thanks.

    It's pure greed.

The service doesn't change and they didn't create the phone, but they'll fuck with you all the same.

My contract is up, I think I'll go to another wireless provider. I'm cool as long as I can keep my same number.

i think i can actually top this with verizon wireless...last time my wife's phone was due for a new every two upgrade, they sent me an email saying she would get a $100 credit against the new phone..so we upgraded and they charged a $100 fee for changing phones, intentionally negating the credit they gave us to come in and do it

Just recently stopped with long term contracts and low priced phone upgrade when my verizon contract ran out. Went to a prepaid unlimited everything, no hidden fees type of deal. It's cheaper but you have to buy your own phone. If you keep the phone for more than two years it is cheaper but not for the type that needs to have the latest phone.
