Just signed up for AT&T/cable TV/W three DVR's 500+ channels and Internet. my current provider Comcast is similarly priced but I will get more options and content a no brainer right?
My personal experiences with AT&T were that they sucked the devil's dick in Hell, and Time Warner was really much better... but I guess it depends on where you live.... I'm stuck with Suddenlink right now, and it's pretty half-assed, but at least I talk to Americans who speak English when I have to call about a problem.....which is frequently....
ATT Uverse compresses the shit out of their video in order to squeeze it through copper. More compresseion = less information = lower picture quality. DBD in 5, 4 , 3, 2, 1
You don't have on demand with u verse. Plus my comcast is faster than 93% of the US according to what's my speed dot net. Why do I need a wireless box, I have cable hookups in my bathrooms and garage if I wanted to watch in there.
Yep. Comcast sucks. They've never been any good for customer service. They had the world by the ass there for a while and got cocky. Now they're playing catch-up. True. The HD is more soft than DIRECTV or FiOS. But it has more features than satellite and FiOS isn't everywhere. The cable companies suck. I wish they were still on a fast track for expansion. Fiber to the premises is as good as you can get. I'll never see them here.
Maybe they all do this now, but with Uverse you can set your DVR from your cell and watch some stuff on it. Pretty slick.
Uverse on demand is completely different than what comcast has. They don't have a tenth of the programming. I was excited about the possibility of uverse until I found that out, plus uverse has slower internet and compressed picture.
