I was in my 20s.
But I forgave them by my 40s.
I suppose that is pretty common
Same here. I don't hold any grudges. They did the best they could.
They say you become an adult the day you stop blaming your parents for everything.....I was 25
my mom tells me she loves me or she gets the hose...
she puts the lotion on the skin
Parents just don't understand
The day they brought home that damn Eddie Arnold Christmas record!!!!
Guess I'm still waiting to grow up... Lol, kinda!
I wonder when my kids will start blaming me....
8. they divorced.
I figured out pretty early on (teens) that my home situation was only going to drag me down so, I grew up quick and got the fuck out.
I have a good relationship with my parents now but, they were never really there for me past the age of 13 or 14.
Never really thought about this. It had to be early 20s.
Right when they took me out of diapers and into big boy drawers. I mean the pure enjoyment I had shitting and pissing on myself while someone else had to clean it up. Once this betrayal occurred, I realized just how fucked up this world would be
8 years old. but im past it.
Never blamed my parents...have a great relationship with them.
What's a parent? I've read about those people.
Your parents say that.
8, they were still together.
Never really got a chance to be mad at them or say anything to them. I think they probably did an OK job anyway.
I never blame my parents either- I blame my grandparents.
