Have you been to Austin, Ruffy? It ain't what it used to be but it's still the best of Texas all in all.

It was called the San Francisco Of The South in it's heyday. That was before the "silicon valley of the south" took over, mostly in the early 90's I think. If ya got money ta just burn, DFW or Houston are the shittz!. Austin is more relaxed.

I have family all over there and west of there to western NM near Plains, TX. And most of them are roughnecks.
My younger brother lives in Austin, but he works for Dell.

Yeah,, Like St Louis, it seems Austin is the Gateway to the West TEXAS..... that is like a whole other country as the speed limit increases to 75mph and the green flatlands turn to brown desert n plateaus

When you walk up and realize just how small the Alamo really is, it kinda fucks you up; thinking that 100 men fit in that place, AND THEN 1500 mexicans attacked it .... I'd have been on he first horse to Colorado....
