    The British influence is strong.

    My findings so far:
    • People are generally polite in the same kind of way, but they're more relaxed.
    • Lots of unattractive fat chicks in really short dresses and tight outfits.
    • Also some really hot ones every now and then. Serious gym bitches.
    • Dudes get really rowdy when they drink. And I mean super fucking rowdy.
    • Lots and lots of people with tattoos.
    • Football and rugby are srs business here.
    • The food is a lot better than in England, especially the beef.
    • Mc Donalds also tastes exactly the same here. It's really amazing if you think about it.
    • The weather is really nice. Sunshine always and everywhere!
    • Life is insanely expensive. A bottle of beer costs 9 dollars. I damn near fell off my chair when I got the bill for two coffee and two beer the other day: $29.
This is Sydney, though. I've heard the north east is "the Florida of Australia". I will be heading up there in a couple of weeks and probably settle down there for a while.

    Pics soon

By the way, the opera house is a lot smaller and less impressive than I thought.

BUT, the CBD is really nice, and they got some amazing shopping malls, too.

Was the beer an import? Remember, a bud light or a Miller would be considered imports there and since they're a continent at the bottom of the friggin earth, it is probably really expensive to ship beer from America there.

If you make it to Ayers Rock and have time try this place out for some authentic Australian culinary delights.

Haven't been out of the city yet but so far, no.
    I will tomorrow.
It was a Corona. Budweiser was 50 cents cheaper and it was the cheapest. I seriously haven’t seen beer lower priced than 7 dollars yet. Maybe this is why happy hour is a big thing here and people get completely blasted when they get a chance.
That one's on my list, yeah.
Haven't done that yet, either but probably will later this week.

I did get laid in Taipei if that's your question. She was from Honduras. One of the most amazing lays & blowjobs of my life.

Whatever you do, stay out of trouble down there. The boot is no joke.
Also remember that disparaging the boot is a bootable offense. :grad:

Footy is fun, and don't forget, you can gamble on it on kiosks while you're inside the damn stadium- which I thought was impressive.

The beer variety was great, and always drink local to save money. Shit is crazy expensive there.

"Shrimp on the barbie" is totally made up. "Why the fuck would I do that?" A drunken Aussie asked me this week in Hawaii. "Shrimp is fucking expensive."

They're curious about American politics, and how things work, and they will ask about it. But generally, they're not dicks about it like the Europeans are. They just want to know what you think, not give you two hours of advice about what to do different to make things "better".
