I remember seeing them when I was in high school. They were ok.
Better than daveindiegos hippie music crap.
I remember driving 5 hours to Ozzfest 2000 and one of the albums we listened to was an early Avenged Sevenfold record a friend had brought.
It was a burned CD from the early days of internet music piracy, so I'm not even sure what album it was (if it was indeed a proper album or a demo) but we liked it enough to listen to it twice.
I remember thinking their style was weird but cool. On that record they were doing long, almost prog rock stuff but with that crappy 80's hair metal tone, reaching lyrics and catchy vocal hooks.
We all agreed they were okay and looked forward to what they did next.
Boy were we wrong.
Now they can say they sucked in 2 different decades.
Not a fan
Florida strip club music
Kim Jong, Hillary, Merkel, Putin, Jinping puppets. No Trump puppet
They fucking suck ass
Seen them 3 times Pretty good live. Dont mind the new song either
Albums are good. Pretty sure they play to a backing tracks live. Lose major points for that. Also give themselves gay names. I refuse to call you Sinister.
I liked it. I see why some folks don't, though...It has real people playing real instruments (very well), singing without autotune, and the video even nudges one to think.
Jesus, aren't you the guy that was popping boners over Dave Mathews Band?
Your taste in music is very homo'ish.
Did you read Breitbart today ?
Never. I won't rot my brain like that.
I actually liked that song and I was never a huge AX7 fan. And it has nothing to do with Mike Portnoy, he did that to himself. I thought is was hysterical when he said: "Hey guys I quit Dream Theater to be your permanent drummer." ....And they were all like: "Nah dude, it's not like that!".
The opening guitar intro does kinda sound like Eruption I will admit.
Yeah and the drummer that replaced Portnoy is already gone.
DT is my favorite band so I checked out A7X when he did that album with them (Nightmare?). I dug what they were doing and the guitarists were pretty good. Anyway, Portnoy really screwed himself when he left DT cause he lost both gigs. But maybe he was better off, because the latest DT album is terrible.
