Do you really want him to sit on your lap?
The incomparable Mr. King RIP while his family increase the cash and property grabs. What a shame.
Great song by a great blues artist.
b.b. is worth more dead than alive...increased catalog sales, and whatnot...note to self, never be worth more dead than alive...he influenced all of the rockers from the 1960's, 1970's
A friend of mine has 2 guitars signed by him which he just threw on Ebay
"Robin, rest in peace BB King. He was never in the league of a Leslie West, but he did pretty good for himself. Anything Robin?"
Funny, I never appreciated BB's talent until a few days ago when I was listening to streaming radio and a song came on and I was captivated by the song and the guitar playing only to find out after that it was BB king. I just found out how great a guitar player he was. RIP, BB.
yet artie still lives.
I was listening to the radio on my morning drive to work and some entertainment guy was talking to the morning guy about how B.B. King fathered 15 kids with various women over the years. I have no idea how true that is, but if it is a fact, you have to wonder where all those offspring are and how many of them know who actually fathered them. Guess the dude just couldn't keep it in his pants.
Glad I took my sons to see him with Frampton last summer.
