This guy was a Las Vegas pimp who went to all the hot nightclubs to recruit girls. He was posing as nightclub promoter and in the music business. He created several Youtube videos which show off his lifestyle.

A judge set bail Monday at $460,000 cash for a 28-year-old man who investigators allege was a Las Vegas Strip pimp who threatened and beat a woman when she tried to quit working as his prostitute — including putting a wet towel over her face and suffocating her in an experience she told police was like being "water boarded."Arman Izadi won't post bail and intends to fight the 20 felony charges filed against him, his attorney said outside court. The charges include kidnapping, pandering, living from the earnings of a prostitute, battery, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, extortion and coercion.

LAS VEGAS -- The sex trafficking trade runs inside Las Vegas nightlife and Metro Police said pimps like Arman Izadi used hot spots to their advantage making them hard to catch.
Izadi raps about his lifestyle in videos all over YouTube as well as his endless supply of booze and the girls.
Metro Police investigators said nightclubs have become the choice for self-proclaimed pimps like Izadi to set up shop.
Detective Chris Baughman worked on the Izadi case for months. He said pimps use their escort service guise to get into clubs with their prostitutes.
"It's extremely hard to pin these guys down as a lot of them use guise of escort service," Baughman said. "Someone who works inside these clubs would contact him and say hey I've got some people in town and would send out the women he was pandering or trafficking."
Metro Police said pimps use cell phones and social media to communicate which can complicate investigations. The glamour of the Izadi's lifestyle is only becoming more popular.
"It's a huge problem, these guys are making ridiculous amount of money to the tune of 100 of thousands and sometimes millions," Baughman said.
Like in so many cases, detectives said Izadi promised his victims a better life and lots of money. The women, lured in by empty promises, quickly realized the life they signed up for means violence and fear according to investigators. Authorities will continue to work with nightclubs to try and identify pimps and keep them from brutalizing women.
"We have a great working relationship we are starting to work with the nightclubs to figure out how some of the bad apples are in their organizations help us get convictions on them as well," Baughman said.
TAO Nightclub banned Izadi from their building and issued a statement.
"TAO group takes great efforts to ensure we abide by all laws and regulations. In the event that an individual is determined to be involved in any illicit activities, they are immediately banned from entering our properties."

That NY Magazine article was awesome and that is exactly what happens. There is so much cash floating around these Las Vegas nightclubs it is insane. The pimps can operate with impunity except when they go crazy like Izadi. Meanwhile on the Strip some dumb fuck "John" gets busted by vice trying to pick up a $250 a hour hooker. I lived in Las Vegas for 20 years. There are no legit high paying jobs unless you have juice. Being a valet at a casino like the Bellagio is six figure job but you have to be connected or pay someone a large sum of money to get the job. All the good casino dealer jobs are who you know. If you are hot female you can become a stripper, a cocktail waitress or step it up and become a high price hooker in a nightclub which is the top of Totem Pole. For a while dealing drugs at the nightclubs was very lucrative but then the heat came down. Federal indictments, huge fines. All that's left for these OG types like Izadi is big "pimping". I like legitimate job title "Nightclub Promoter".

You know the cops could do everyone a solid by letting folks know which escort services were the good ones. Then the market would come to bare the bad services with the bad pimps would lose business and eventually dry up. Problem solved without arrests.
