...who forced the attorney wash down all that booze and then drive his car? the attorney is an educated person what made him think it was ok to drink and drive. fuck them, they lost the case. even that little midgets wife who was part of the suit had left her dj husband before the trial began. they took their shot and lost.

he didn't drive his own car, and his DUI was dismissed. The cop who arrested him was fired.

Some Boston lawyers did something similar in a huge civil case--2 were disbarred (which means they can seek readmission in 8 years) a third was suspended for 3 years

What difference does it make whose car or what car one drives?
Driving under the influence is still illegal.

    Replace the DRINKING with...
If i put a gun on a counter and told you to shoot and kill someone is that OK?
    REGARDLESS of the circumstances.
You did kill someone with the gun.
Later it was found out that I was trying to set you up.
You should get a free Pass?

What if he had killed someone while driving the car - drunk or not?

did you read the article? He wasn't drunk, he was set up, the cop was fired. I fucking love this place, People bash cops and lawyers all the time, and the one time when they both get punished for being scum, you defend them

...a disgraced cop and a disgraced lawyer. how can either one be better than the other? the fact remains he had enough alcohol to preclude him from driving at the time. if a paralegal knew somebody was going to leave a bar to kill someone would it be wrong to have the cops there, ready to intercept him or her? it doesnt matter if he drove the car 50 feet. dui is dui. as a lawyer he probably knows the dui laws and i bet he cant find the part in the law that says it ok to drive short distances when youve had too much to drink.

the lawyers ego was bruised thats all this is, but he apparently takes being a 'member of the bar' very seriously.

what was the reading on his alcohol content blow job?

...yes hes trying to save face with the bar and smear everybody else. "some other guy did it" this lawyer already had a reputation as a drunk as you have pointed out.

Didn't she ask him to move her car for her, and that was when he was arrested?

...yes but how do you make someone commit a violation? this guy was rather habitual in his mixing of drinking and driving. a good indicator of future behavior is past behavior. this lawyer has passed the audition! :cheer: :grad:

...oh yeah it was a classic set up. they knew some alcohol and a flirty chick would do the trick. the cop was just doing his job, they cruise bar parking lots all the time. i used to know a guy in ny who got arrested for dui just for sitting in the drivers seat drunk to take a nap. no key in the ignition either. the article said he failed to yield right of way and he refused to have his bac taken. dont know about fla but in many states refusing the test is an automatic default and a year without a license.

Bottom line.....If he is stupid enough to get behind the wheel of ANY car.........He got what he deserved......And I'm sure that the assistant held a gun on him and made him drink........
Goddamn lawyers......Billy had 'em pegged and had the best solution........No?
