What are some of the bars or restaurants mentioned on the show and has anyone been to them? If they're any good, I'd like to try them the next time I'm in NYC.

    - Will mentioned The Playwright as a place he and JD have been to. Don't know where it's at.

    - Artie has mentioned a pizza place a few times but I don't know if I have the name right. Napoli's on 49th? He says the 'grandma' slice is the best slice he's ever had. Thin crust with the cheese a little over-done and good 'gravy'.

    - Del Friscos (sp)

    - Richard likes Papa Johns...I kid, I kid.

    Any other show grub?????

Those are really high end right? Is it possible for the common dirt to get in there?

    Always wanted to try Nobu.

You can book most of those places on OpenTable some of them take a credit card when you make the reservation and charge you a no show fee if you don't cancel. I ate at some places like that when I used to have an expense account. Nobu in San Diego is in the Hard Rock Hotel, you can walk in without a reservation most non weekend nights.

Club Bene (pronounced benay) in South Amboy NJ. Never went there but drove around it literally because it's on a Uturn jughandle.

also that theater place in Newark where they had NY's Eve, I used to drive in that area sometimes.

Hey bethsucks, I was in San Diego recently and ate at Hodad's. The dbl bacon chee was so mammoth and unwieldy that I couldn't set it down, but it was so heavy that my left hand was getting fatigued by holding it. Plus, the bacon part of it is made with sort of a bacon patty. It was pretty intense.

Is that burger place a popular local joint or a tourist trap? It got very busy at lunch time.

The one in Ocean Beach is a legendary hangout place that has satisfied many a case of the munchies, the one downtown is pretty new and is a mix of locals and tourists.
