Which elements of this drive you crazy?

I am not a technological wiz by any means and I don't want to sound like a snob, but in work and personal environments you need to have at the very least some basic skills to keep up.

I am trying to create one inclusive invoice for billing right now. Everyone sends over their info on a spreadsheet, then I just copy and paste onto an invoice provided by the client. This is also done for their mileage reports

Two people insist on handwriting their invoices and mileage because they won't even get free OpenOffice. They even used Whiteout for corrections.

So far I've been attaching their documents and no one has said anything, but I'm waiting for the day I am informed that I need to input all that info into the invoice myself.

I am talking about the most basic primitive skills, like attaching pictures to an email or downloading pictures from a camera to a computer.

I think all hot women should know how to take a pic and upload it on to the Internet. Should be some kind of law or something.

I am going to group cell phones into this. As in "people who still have archaic plans and do not answer their phone during the day because calls are not free until after 9pm."

People who forward every urban legend that shows up in their inbox to their entire address book. Because they think they should. Do not give them a computer ever

I finally got my mother trained to ask if those are true before she forwards them.

My wife bought me a hat years ago and had RTFM embroidered on it. I mumble it under my breathe every time I need to fix stupid computer or tech problems for the same people over and over.

That brings up another point. I was talking to my friend the other day and she asked me to text her my address because she lost all the contacts in her phone. I asked her why didn't she just reach for a pen and paper and write it down while I was on the phone.

That would be my father. He lives on Social Security and can't afford long distance.

He'd much rather spend his monthly stipend on the lottery. :shitcoffee:

He can just as easily get a Magic Jack and call anywhere, for less than he is paying on his current outdated plan. Does he still have a rotary phone?

    That would require a computer.

No, he's made it to the 1970's.

There is a Magic Jack version now where you do not need a computer. I think they had people like your father in mind
