The Lakers and Timofey "I must break you" Mozgov have agreed to four-year, $65 million deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Nice player with the Cavs for the past several years, but no way they were going to pay him $15 million + considering him limited role the second half of the season.

That's a payday of John Koncak proportions. Unbelievable.

Hassan Whiteside was smart to resign with the ZOMGHEATz

Umm, the Heat are the losers in that scenario. Lakers fans are lucky the crappy front office didn't get Whiteside.

The dude was a punk and wouldn't play hard when he was trying to just get in the league. He is going to turn into an even lazier, jerkier slob now that he is getting paid.

Plus, doesn't this knock the Heat out of the running for Durant now?

Everyone signed this off season is going to get insane money. Even a scrub like Tyler Johnson is going to get over 10 mill per year.

What the Lakers paid Mozgov doesn't change my feelings toward Whiteside. The Heat will regret this signing.

I'm still curious how D'Angelo Russell's situation plays out, you just don't do what he did to Nick Young, even if Nick Young is a scrub.

The NBA and all media outlets should report all salaries in terms of cap percentage. With the cap rising so much the dollar figures have lost context.
