A lot of people who claimed the income tax was unlawful wound up in prison. My guess is probable cause ginned up by the officer would be sufficient to ruin his day.

My thought as well, especially if there was anything visible (open bottle, odd movements, poor driving). However, gotta give the guy credit for trying it.

I was thinking if you got pulled over - but at a DUI checkpoint? Nah, still wouldn't work.

Didn't notice the resemblance before. Well played sir.

Although he'd be riding, not driving...

That picture is so wrong in so many ways. You can see how frozen her face is...the left side of her mouth hardly moves and neither does the skin below the eyes.

The cops by me are desperate to nab drunk drivers. They don't do it for their 'civil purpose' but for the revenue it generates for their small town. You'll be driving and an oncoming car will hang a quick U-turn and speed like a bat out of a hell to ride your bumper and follow you for a few miles.

It happens to me all the time. I was pulled over once because "i hit the center line". I explained, "I was worried when I see a car behind me driving recklessly tailgating me and i'm constantly looking at my mirrors." The cop tried to say I was weaving because I had a something to drink earlier. I told him that he was mistaken that I don't drink alcohol.

He got annoyed and returned a few minutes later with a warning for improper lane usage. "You know i could have given you a ticket, but i'm a nice guy ya know."

I respect cops but the metermaid cops are useless imo.

I wanted to say this dude is a huge pain in the ass
    but if this is true

He says some of his clients who passed breath-alcohol tests still faced DUI charges because the officer said he detected an odor of alcohol or the person had slurred speech

then maybe I agree with his shenanigans

Yup, know the feeling. The other vermin are the cops part of speed trap towns, like Emporia VA on I-95. They wait and prey on out of state drivers.

Note though that if they passed a breathalyzer (and they were of age to have anything above 0.0 BAC) then "an odor of alcohol" wouldn't be reasonable cause to arrest someone. Slurred speech though could be - or could be because the person had a speech impediment.

The best way to beat a DUI......I have tried it. Don't be an asshole....don't drink and drive....call a cab. It works every time. Thank you!

I was actually told by a lawyer is if you're drunk, refuse all tests (blood, piss, walking, breath). You'll go to jail for refusing that night, but you'll beat the dui.
