    Here is my late Sunday Night Taco Thread.

    I will comment on every picture because people LOVE comments with pictures.

    I made this shredded chicken concoction with "Mexican" spices a while back and froze the leftovers. I could explain how to make it but that needs it's own thread.

    I reheated the shredded chicken meanwhile I cooked up some corn tortilla's in a small cast. I topped it with a little plain greek yogurt.

    When I got home from work, the first thing I did was whip up a batch of guacamole. Chopped some onion, diced a tomato, and chopped a jalapeno and some garlic. Mix that all up and refrigerate. No cilantro this time.

    add that to the taco and boom

    I'm telling you Bro, I have had taco cravings for a month. Only I'm getting the deep fried messes from Jack in the Box. Luckily, I eat pretty healthy most of the time to counteract my cravings for fried tacos and cherry slurpees.

    Shoprite was fuck all out of lettuce. It was fuck all out of a lot of produce. I ended up buying a bag of romaine out of desperation.

    I chopped that up and added it to the taco.

    I bought a bag of shredded white cheddar on sale for 2.24 for 8 oz. Yep. A bag of shoprite brand shredded cheese.

    I put a lil sour cream in my guac. Keeps it from turning black even after all the limes I put in and makes it super luscious not so grainy.

    I know the secret to keeping guac. Since air oxidizes it, what you do is cover it with a liquid before you store it. I just squeezed a lime on mine. Water will work too. It will keep for up to 5 days. No shit. Just pour off the liquid before you use it. Cover the unused portion with liquid again and you're good to go.
