Stern Show Benjy only works 12 hours a week but the average guy working on the show works 50 hours?

Howard was talking with Benjy today and said that Benjy is on a 12 hour week, but that the average guy there works a 50 hour work week. First of all, how the hell are people working 50 hours a week on a show that is on only three days a week? What can they possibly be doing a week? Secondly, Benjy does ZERO work outside of the air time? Sign me up for a gig like that!

 

Benjy is in charge of keeping the show unfunny.

 

Benjy makes $250,000 to scribble two jokes a day and pass them to Howard.

 

so, basically everyone else works 50hours, Stern, Robin, Fred, jd, jason, will, etc.....why so many hours??
and are some getting paid hourly wage? cause then Sirius/XM must being lots for overtime each week

Robin does even less work. Everyday when they have a celebrity on the first words out of Robin's mouth are, "oh, so Bradley Cooper is here today?" You know they have these guests booked weeks in advance. I'm sure there is some staff email that is sent out that says what guests are coming in that week. If she is too lazy to read an email to see who is on that day fine, but what really makes it worse is she won't shut the fuck up during the interview.

At least Howard does some prep for his interviews. You would think if Robin knew a famous actor was coming in she could do some research the night before. Fuck that. She will just butt in with questions on the fly that nobody cares about and talk over people.

The absolute best part of the Samuel L Jackson interview today is his headphones weren't working in the beginning. She kept butting in with stupid questions and they would go unanswered. I was so glad he was ignoring her then I found out it was because he couldn't hear anything. At least Benji and Fred shut up most of the time. Blobbin adds nothing to interviews and derails them because of her 34 ego.

 

Trust me Howard does no prep work. If it wasn't for Will and Jason he would be lost.

 

Jay Thomas replays just stopped today and gave a "channel unavailable" message, so I flipped over to the Stern Show. Howard was telling Benjy that basically the beard is good because it hides more of his face. I agree.

What a job and he isn't even remotely funny in my book, Sal's one liners are ten times as funny when Howard lets him go off

 

If I were Sal I'd be pissed because Benji is the least funniest person in the studio and the staff. I would want him writing bits after the show and the off air days

 

Maybe the editing team does long hours that's it, u know the wig loves exaggerate and bullsht

 

Take Jackie, a guy that basically everybody loves to hate, and replace him with a suckjob that basically everybody hates to hate. And hang on to him for years. Genius...

 

best job in show business, you know jackie is kicking hisself over this, and stuttering john would sucks Howard's tiny dick for the chance to get back and do the show!

 

If true, it's the four hour show three times a week, no writers meetings for him. Maybe they've cut back on his expensive hours for those cheap hipsters to do the work.

 

Zero chance they're paying anyone there overtime. Maybe he's referring to the exempt employees.

When Howard is talking about Benjy, it's a 4 hour show. When it's about Howard, it's a 5 hour show.

 

I think my figure is low, I think he makes more. Everybody who works for the show is overpaid.
