after the activities of the past day or so, I must say that I'm ashamed to have voted for Bernie sanders. He is the first person to go negative on trump, but then completely ignores the actions of his own followers.

I'm still optimistic that Bernie will get the dem nod, but am not fooling myself. I think Hillary will leverage these assholes and it'll cost Bernie votes. He has no problem going negative on trump by jumping to conclusions, but won't attack Hillary when her weaknesses are visible and many... Wtf does she have on him?

And then there's my other favorite anti establishment candidate, who can't stop putting his foot in his mouth for more than a second and who seems to blow every opportunity to really put away his opponents but never fails to step in a new pile of shit.

So... Who are you more ashamed of after this weekends events?

Sanders supporters did worse in one night than anything trump has said, done or implied.

How can you hold the Sanders campaign responsible for anything its supporters might have done? The campaign didn't organize that, or encourage it.

As opposed to Trump, who has repeatedly encouraged his followers to "punch" protesters "in the face," etc.

There's a LOT of sanders supporters there. A lot... As in most of them... How can they not have been responsible for organizing it? What? Are they flies attracted to the trump beacon of light?

"Completely ignored"? Nope. Sanders addressed the actions in his statement: "Obviously, while I appreciate that we had supporters at Trump's rally in Chicago, our campaign did not organize the protests."

Poll needs to be multiple choice and needs an "all of the above" option.

What you failed to do is explain why you think that the Sanders campaign HQ must have organized whatever you think happened in Chicago. Obviously, it didn't.

It would not shock me one bit if these "Sanders supporters" were actually "Clinton supporters" dressed to appear as Sanders backers.

I'm used to politicians being crooks (Clinton), I'm used to them making outlandish promises (Trump), I'm used to liars (Cruz), I'm used to guys in the bag for the establishment (Rubio), and I'm used to guys that just try to tell people what they want to hear (Kasich). I can't give an openly socialist candidate a pass. That shit does not work. So I voted for the Bern.

As far as the idiot protestors, that is 0% Trump or Bernie's fault. 90%+ of those fools have no clue that Trump even said the stuff that he spews as schtick at his rallies. So it makes no sense to put that at his feet. Had a riot started at one of the rallies where he said that stuff you could use that as the catalyst. But since this was an organized, premeditated protest and not a heat of the moment outbreak you can throw that out the window. Stop getting talking points from cable news and think for yourselves. These people are doing this because they are attention whores and nobody is getting more face time than Trump. He could be saying even harsher rhetoric and if his media coverage and crowd size mirrored Kasich's this would not be happening.

The protesters in Chicago showed up with Bernie signs. Who else should be called out for disrupting a peaceful rally ?
Is that the fault of Trump supporters too ?

Here is the segment I intended to embed above:

Trump has repeatedly incited his followers to commit violence against protesters. And this is the inevitable result.

Beth143nacho doesn't seem to be able to grasp the concept that Sanders hasn't encouraged volient behavior. Trump on the other hand.
