What car would you choose for: a) entry level vehicle, practical car, best bang for buck sort of deal when you don't have too much money to spend b) "mid luxury" "entry luxury" (whatever they call it) vehicle when you're a bit more established financially and could afford an upgrade c) dream car if you were rich
Also, opinions on Hybrids, Tesla, Audi, best SUV's, how much insurance adds up to a year, what's a sedan? lol I know nothing about cars
I'd get a George Takei rice burner. A Honda Civic is very well built and affordable JAP compact car and great on gAAs. In big cities and if you have no kids - there's no point in getting anything more cumbersome than a sedan economy car. Unless you're some gaudy pickup truck driving dick-hick you'd need to emasculate anyway.
A. 78 Chrysler Cordoba with fine Corinthian leather B. 78 Chrysler Cordoba with fine Corinthian leather C. I am rich and I'm keeping my 78 Chrysler Cordoba with fine Corinthian leather

Nice modern car stereo and fuel efficient is all I need. I'm a "cars get you from point A to point B" type of guy.
You drive in slippers though and who buys a car cause of the stereo? Who says stereo anymore? Who drives in slippers?
Where on Earth do you get your intel? Do you mean like TRAVEL slippers?? Are you implying I just drive around town in slippers -- like a fairy?? L O T N
I don't know what you Wolverine and Alpha Flight Canuckle-Heads call it in Canada -- but unless I didn't get the motorhead memo, it's usually called a "car stereo" here. As Billy Joel said "you get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers. "
Your car is really only AS good as the driving laws and state (or Province, you Canuck) speed limits allow. We're all really just prisoners to the general rules of the road. No matter how entitled to drive 140 mph we think we are, or how much we know about or love cars. It's not like you're ALLOWED to drive 120 mph - like we are on the autobahn or something. What's the point in getting some ostentatious Adam Carolla or Seinfeld or Leno gas burning Halliburton friendly sports car that can go 0 to 120mph in blah blah blah seconds -- if the actual law doesn't allow that speed on the roads?? We ALL have to stop at the same red lights and roll through the same stop signs whether we have a Daewoo or a Lamborghini. In other words, Lisa G drives with the same restrictions as Ronnie Mund.
At least in SoCal it helps having a sharp 0-60 clip when merging and passing in our public road courses and super speedways. Good. Now he can get out on the sand and help round up those ferals in the Hamptons.
