only one choice please
Reps if I like em
Iron Maiden/Judas Priest 1982
Don't recall many details
pink floyd concert at the rose bowl in 94
Prince/Hollywood Bowl/Emancipation Tour.
...around 2004 or so. They were so tight and ripped through their set like it was 1979.
They are one of my favorite bands of all-time and John Doe's voice is like the male equivalent of a siren song to my ears.
I also saw Faith No More....that's a long story.
Lucky fuck - a friend had tickets for the last time they played Roseland in NY. Had to work, one of my biggest regrets.
That was a great tour...Maiden always delivered live
1992--Pearl Jam with everclear and 11. It was at a bar call r and r station in Madison. "Alive" was just starting to break on Mtv and college radio. They rocked my face off
Pearl Jam - Dallas Reunion Arena - July 1998 - Denis Rodman got up on stage and carried Vedder around on his shoulders. Awesome show.
Neil Young with Soundgarden 199? Outside...both bands were on, amazing show
Allman Bros when they got back with Dickey in the 90s...holy never ending jam session
hard to pick the best....a few stand out
was blind melon there too? I saw that one... was great
I liked Los Lobos a lot. We got a hotel room and got really drunk at the show. Afterwards at the hotel we turned the water on in the hot tub and fell asleep. The manager came pounding on the door around 6:00am freaking the fuck out because we'd flooded a bunch of rooms down below. When we went to check out water was dripping on the front desk
I tried to get tickets to the 12-10-93 concert in Minneapolis and shit was sold out instantly!!
Me too - caught em at Jones Beach
Hard to pick, but probably Neil Young circa 1983. $25 for third row seats, and he was directly in from of me, on a stool, playing all acoustic guitar and banjo, for about an hour. Then he played 2 songs from "Trans" on electric with a sequencer. Then he disappeared and came back on as "Neil And The Shocking Pinks", which was totally bizarre and unexpected, but fun.
Color me "impressed"!
