You put a lot of work into this.

I'm still not going to vote.

    Okay.

Boyz in the Hood is good... but it's still just blechs killing blechs.
Singleton made good use of the song "oh-oh-child"

Eddie Coyle... never seen but it stars a lot of badass men.

The Departed... is pretty bad. Outside of (shockingly) good performances by two normally awful actors (hi Alec, hi Wahlberg) it is awful.
    See the original film.

Miller's Crossing is the anti-goodfellas and just another genius Cohen brothers film.

Carlito's Way is Pacino being tired and sad. And might be his last great performance.

    Reservoir Dogs is pure style.

    Pulp Fiction is pure perfect.

So my answer is Sexy Beast

Blood In Blood Out is very good.

American Gangster wasn't great but it's worth watching.
