But Whitney Cummings suggests the opposite has been much more beneficial to her recent radiant appearance. While visiting NBC's Today show on Monday, the 32-year-old credited her 25 pound weight gain to her current youthful glow. 'Well, I did get a new face,' the stand-up comic joked. 'I bought it on eBay.' Whitney added: 'I did this weird thing that nobody likes to do anymore where I gained weight. I gained like 25 pounds, which I think I needed to. I was way too skinny before. I looked like I was passing away and I put on, like, 20 lbs. I think it filled out...People think I got a face-lift.' The co-creator of CBS' 2 Broke Girls continued: 'I feel like all the advice to girls nowadays is "Lose weight! Lose weight!" They say you have to pick your ass or your face and I'm picking my face, but I hope somebody else picks the other one!' Whitney also credits her youthful appearance to an LED machine called NuFACE she bought online which 'lifts and tightens' the skin. Whitney was inspired to try new treatments because of her upcoming hi-definition show - which clearly doesn't hide her flaws. Over the next three months, the star will be flying around the country to film gigs for her HBO comedy special - taking in La Jolla, California; Tempe, Arizona; Portland, Oregon and San Francisco. In September, Whitney is also due to appear at The Venetian's Sands Showroom in Las Vegas as part of the casino's Lipshtick series of comediennes.
