In her Purina video she picked up one of the kittens and started making out with it on stage and just turned to everyone and said "Sorry that was my moment" it was cringe-worthy immature middle school bullshit DoucheChills.gif
Can you be so emotionally fragile, that sending a kitten to a pre-screened, loving home sends, you into a crying jag?
Maybe fostering just ain't for you honey.
I'd be ecstatic to be rid of the fucking thing.
Which is why I'm not foster material. I can handle one, maybe two animals, at a time.
MAYBE two. . . .
just sent here a tweet
I figured that she'd have one of the staff cry for her.
Totally, this is complete overcompensation for that gaping childless chasm in her life. If fostering is her "life's work" at this point, then the result of said work, finding the damn things a home, ought to elicit everything BUT tears.
If she REALLY wanted to do some good work, she'd rescue every single cat in a Petsmart store on Long Island and foster and find homes for them.
If it's emotional stability, then...Underdog Lady>Beff Stern Ostrosky
That is a good one.
Isn't that the goal to save these animals from the incinerator ?
I rehabilitated abused/sick parrots for 3 years. It was such a happy day when they were adopted.
I bet this emotional cripple demands follow up reports and photos, like a drug addled teen who gave up her baby for adoption.
I'm sure she makes those fatties (from the nsal group photo on the beach) cry all the time. Or the cute on in the puppy gif.
Also, 4 "likes" after 18 hours. You can 50 "likes" in 2 hours by posting a picture of a cold turd. Why doesn't the world love her and why isn't she famous yet?
LOL that was an abomination of obese mutants, wasn't it...forgot all about that.
The stark contrast between the Wal-Mart clad fatsos and the scarecrow couple was epic.
Aaaaaaw, a baby kitler
i can ALMOST empathize with her. when you volunteer with a rescue, you get very attached to the animals but unless you're willing to adopt them all yourself you've got to rely on your intuition that the dog or cat is being sent to a loving, responsible household.
my biggest fear with the greyhounds at the rescue is that the "adopter" won't secure the house or property enough. i love each and every one of those dogs so much that i'm always impressing on people to please, please be careful. make sure that gate is closed, don't open the door until you know where the dog is in the house. i'm a little nutty but i can be very charming so it doesn't come out as a nag or scold but always gentle with humor (and a bit of humility).
so yes. i understand beth's devotion but..........
that is one of the reasons i don't foster. i'd get even more emotionally attached.
I've gotten a dog and a cat from the humane society. The women there were happy to see the animals adopted. Didn't see any tears. . . . really what I saw was more a frustration that more people don't adopt animals from them. There are SO many unwanted animals out there that it seems impossible to be sad to see them adopted out.
Beth, there is a no kill shelter near my home and not one of the workers there ever garners any publicity. Why the fuck do you feel your so important.
