He is an 'interesting one', jailed in the seventies for armed robbery but apart from a brief holiday as spent the rest of his naturals in prison because he cannot behave. Not even the notorious Broadmoor high secure hospital could handle him and sent him back to prison after he tore part of their roof off. Murderers, rapists and terrorists have spent less time in jail than this man.

A film was made about him back in 2008,did quite well surprisingly, considering the limited aspect of it, ie a film about a convict. Got decent reviews from critics.

I wonder if he would have survived the US prison system for so long?

They have let him out before and he just reoffends.

In October 1988, Bronson was released and spent 68 days as a free man before being arrested for robbery and in November 1992, he spent 53 days out of jail before being locked up again for conspiracy to rob.
In 1999, Bronson was jailed for life for taking a prison art teacher hostage for two days during a jail siege.

Sounds like a lifelong criminal to me. Why do people want this asshole out?

A minimum serving of four years was ordered by a judge, but Bronson's case for parole has been refused several times, and the former bare-knuckle boxer and circus showman remains in solitary confinement in an isolation cell known as the 'Hannibal cage' at HMP Wakefield High-Security Prison.

I wonder if he knows Riley Martin? :derp:

People love a cult hero. Same reason Richard Ramirez got married behind bars, and same reason Charles Manson gets the most fan mail of any other prisoner.
