Fortunately, in case you missed Bill the first time around, you can hear this guy perform most of his act.
Hmmm, not as funny as his reputation would have you believe.
He was more of a philosopher with dick jokes sprinkled in.
I was about to post his picture.
Your opinion is noted but wrong. Thanks
left-wing shithead masquerading as a comedian. good riddance.
Obvious troll is obvious.
Denis Leary is much funnier than Bill Hicks.
He still alive he Alex Jones.
A helluva lot funnier than this shit head
Bill Hicks became really popular again after the Second Gulf War because a lot of his stand-up from the early 90s dealt with what a sham the First Gulf War was and George Bush Sr. being Satan's bitch.
You could literally play his old stand up like he had just performed it in 2005, it was so mysteriously relevant to the current situation we had with Bush Jr.
He appealed to me at the time because I was about 17-18 and I'm into the whole conspiracy theory/chain-smoking act which was sadly stolen by Leary although the two remained good friends.
They even had to cut out a joke from his roast on comedy central:
I got the impression comedy was his out-let for beliefs and cared more about his "act" trying to get you to think instead of laugh which is why I always enjoyed his performances. There really aren't any stand-up comedians like him that dealt with such heavy topics. You could tell the jokes were just to keep the crowd in they're seats.
a failed wannabe political pundit. yeah, I really want to go to a comedy show and be lectured by an ignorant tool about the single bullet theory. not.
He was a funny comedian but definitely not in my top five.
Top five would have to be
Larry The Cable Guy
All funnier than Bill Hicks.
Bill Hicks never could have pulled off "The Ref" like Denis did.
People didn't complain when George Carlin got political.
