I truly believe Howard probably does overtip because he is so worried about people talking about him negatively he will overcompensate to make people think he's just a swell guy.

It's also a well known fact that black people are horrible tippers in restaurants.

If the establishment clearly displays the policy (the inclusion of the gratuity), you're shit out of luck. They pull that crap in South Beach (Miami, Ocean Blvd).

If you don't like it, don't eat there.

I believe it is defined as: "the futility in avoiding paying a gratuity," but I'm just guessing. The word has its roots in Retardese, a tongue common to individuals with little to no education...and an over-used webcam.

I used to run a restaurant/bar and the reason why they add a 15-17% gratuity for large tables is because the server gets fucked on their tip. Big tables are a pain in the ass and take up alot of time, which is part of the job but after waiting on a large table for an hour the bill gets jacked up and servers get left about a buck per person if you don't have that policy (from personal experience)....Servers or management need to let that table know immediately, however that a gratuity will be added to the bill at the end of the meal to avoid any potential problems, and most people are cool with that if you communicate with them....but I agree, if the the service sucks and people were treated poorly...I wouldn't want to leave them shit either.

Why can't nigras ever pronounce "bill" properly? It always sounds something like "beel" or "bew".

Does anyone really believe that the service was bad? I'll bet 17% that this was a bunch of loud and rowdy blacks who were looking to get out of paying the bill. I can here it now when they saw the bill and the tip was like $20.00. "WTF you be meanin dat we's got to be pay a $tip yo??

Well, I'd love to have really been able to observe this whole interaction to see exactly what happened. I'm someone who tips 20% normally and 15% if it is crap. Once in my life I've given 10% for a real Piece of shit job. Included gratuity is a common policy, and really why are they that cheap? All that said, calling the cops seems a bit extreme.

...if you cant afford to tip a server when youre using a sit down table or booth then stay at home and cook. it would be cheaper then the next time you go out you can tip, just be on the lookout for ralph.

Actually that's the right move, locking the doors and holding them hostage will probably result in the manager losing his job and maybe jail time.
