Anyone here partake in the wackiness that is Black Friday?
i said black friday not black everyday
Hell no. The very little shopping I do, I do online.
I remember driving home from Thanksgiving dinner and seeing people with tents in front of best buy camping out like they are trying to buy Springsteen tickets back in 1986.
I'd imagine the same type who shop in stores are the same type who still buy CDs from the mall with the $17.99 MSRP.
Years ago after buying my house I did a few black Friday's mostly got hard drives and a few odds and ends. ..
The TV'S are always last year's crap and never worth the effort. ..now its all about amazon
Great deal on the Sony PS4
Early morning Thanksgiving Day at Bass Pro Shops at Silverton Casino.
For people on a really limited budget, i.e. those with a lot more time than money on their hands, you can get some great deals and give a lot more presents to the kids for Christmas. Can't fault anyone for that.
Personally, my time is worth more than a few dollars of savings. I hate the idea of lining up with crowds and fighting for a limited stock. And as Xavier said, you can grab pretty much all of it on Amazon now, with 2 day free shipping.
I am scared of the shoving, crowds, etc. as seen on TV.
You mean you don't want to be a part of this?
Howard needs to interview this homo,he must have a huge cock to penetrate that ass
Online, perhaps. No chance is hell I'm leaving the house to shop. I hate shopping malls on a normal day. My Mom and sister will sometimes go out at midnight after Thanksgiving dinner to shop. I'd rather hang back with my Dad and the husbands & enjoy another cocktail.
People die for this shit...count me fucking out!
On the plus side, you can go cop a feel in the crowds.
