Bloodline fans... just got a notice from Netflix that season 2 is now available. Yay!
Hey Kayne. Whatcha doing this holiday weekend?
just hanging in the city...didnt make plans to go out of town...you?
Drinking foo foo drinks and boating... then boating and drinking foo foo drinks.
...i watched season one during my free 1 month netflix trial. i went there to see the steven avery story and then checked out some other offerings and bloodline was one of them. i liked the show a lot but im not sure about netflix in general.
...cool, my online streaming site has bloodline so i can watch it there.
I have been waiting for this... Will binge this weekend. I am staying away from this thread in the meantime. I'll post my .02 on Monday. The reviews i've read were a little disappointing, but i'll make my own opinion..
Like many others, I am worried about the effectiveness of the Danny Rayburn character in a flashback only format. Supposedly the flash forwards are now replaced with flashbacks (for obvious reasons).
I prefer the forward flashes because it increases the suspense and mystery around the story.
I have been a big John Leguizamo fan for years, I am hoping they make the most out of his character. However, I realize no one will be able to fill the hole left by Danny Rayburn.
In hindsight, it was probably a bad move to end S1 the way they did. They should have Melisandre perform a resurrection.
The first season was good, but with Danny dead, I'm not expecting it to be as compelling.
Pacing is sooooooo sloooooowww...
@Petal was 100% correct. Season 1 was a slow build but the last 4-5 episodes or so were breathtakingly powerful
I suspect the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with Danny's son, so there's gonna be some shit stirred up for sure.
...i think danny is still very much a part of the story even in death. they have scenes of danny going thru the motions of setting up his revenge. yeah, danny? hes around.
Oh yeah, forgot about him. Plus, there's that whole "we murdered our brother and covered it up thing" and no way the three of them pull it off, right?
Maybe he'll come back as a Walker!
Or a White Walker! Wait, what show is this???
I agree - wish they had figured a way to keep him alive. He was the best character on there... I was hoping for some time of "resurrection" as well. Boo.
...danny rayburns absence ony gives the other characters a chance to grow their crazy scheming selves. just smoke a bowl and let it go.
Kevin is the emotional and intellectual weak link IMO. Plus the old detective has carried his guilt over fucking up Danny and not doing enough for over 30 years, so he's gonna be on a mission, IMO.
Oh petal....you know how I feel about this!
